Hi My Friendly Bloggers!
Welcome to MCT "Scrapping the little things"
Today we are making Project life/Smashbook /Layouts or similar type projects.
For my project I made a layout about my Scott. He just got braces and I thought this would make a great souvenir. He was so excited he was going to get braces until he actually got them, first couple of days were a little rough (he didn't want them anymore) but now they have settled in and he is doing fine!I just love the way the Paper Doll Teen turned out,it really looks like Scott LOL!!!
All the Stamps and Dies that I used are from Emma's (My Creative Time)!!!

The braces look is made with glue dots, Hemp and a wire!!

Supplies I Used for my Layout:

DCWV All About Boys (for the stars and polka dot paper)
DCWV All Dolled Up Stack
K&Company (for the belt border)
Cartridge - Paper Dolls Teen Scene

OMG, I love this! Your braces on the teen are perfect! That cut is perfect for your cute son! Love the story - Eric always wanted braces too, until he had them. Same with crutches, LOL!

Great layout! It does look like him too. You might consider making a 2nd page for when they come off and journal the date he got them on etc. When done the dentist might be able to share his up close before and after pictures...just ask! ;)

Oh my gosh! This layout is so adorable! It does look like your son! lol! My kids are now 32 and 30, they hated their braces but it was totally worth it. Tell him to hang in there, time will pass quickly enough.

Hugs,

Chriss

OMGosh, I love this layout! Just when I think I don't need a cricut cart, I see one used and then OMGosh I have to have this! lol Love how you did the braces, love how you did this whole layout! And I can't believe how much your paper doll looks like your son! I will have to lift this idea for my son's braces. Like you's he was so excited to get braces, but then found out they weren't so much fun after all. lol He is done with his and have his off, yes, that is how far behind I am. lol
