 It's my day to post over at SVG Cutting Files!!!

Today I am showcasing a NEW cut from SVG Cutting Files ( Fisherman ) He is so cute!!! My son Scott and my brother started going fishing together this year, he is really liking the time spent with his Uncle!!! I also used the cut Can of Worms for the bobbers. From MCT I used the  Lowercase Fun Dies with the Uppercase Fun Dies for the font, the Number Fun Dies + Add Ons for the year,

the Stitched Message Bubble Dies for the (BIG!) sentiment, and for the cute faces I used

Peachy Keen Stamps - PK-1301 Sweet & Innocent Faces 1 1/8th inch

I have two cards for you today, my first card is based on the card class that I am taking!!!

SUPER easy but fun to make.

I used the Stitched Message Bubble Dies for the BIG die sentiment, the You Are Fabulous for the shape and flipped the stamp so it would stamp solid, the Fun Variety on the Inside & Out Stamp Set for the sentiment, the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die for the base, and I used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

For my second card I made my sisters birthday card early, her birthday is only at the end of September!!! but I so wanted to use this sweet little elephant from PK. I bought it just for this occasion!!! She LOVES anything with elephants.

I used the Fly Away With Me Dies for the clouds, the Stitched Grass Die,

the Stitched Party Dies for the balloons, the Vintage Sentiments Stamp Set for the sentiment,

the Grainy Wood Background Stamp for the wood pieces, the tent cut is from

SVG Cutting Files - Camping Fun and the cute elephant is from PK-1396 Elephant Parade

I also used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks...

Today we are to make a project of our choice based on an inspiration.

My inspiration came from the card class that I am taking and Emma, last week she made a card using the shape in the set You Are Fabulous!!! and flipped her stamp so it would stamp solid. So Thanks for that GREAT idea my friend!!!

I used the You Are Fabulous for the shape, the Grainy Wood Background Stamp for the pattern, the new Write On Stamp Set for the sentiment.

OMG this new mini Release is just AMAZING!!! I LOVE the New Uppercase Fun Dies, they are perfect match for the Lowercase Fun Dies and the New Numbers fun dies + add ons.AWESOME for layouts and cards. The New Write on! and Love to learn sets are so FUN for those School projects, but they would be GREAT for any type of project!!! There is so many thing you can do with these sets.

For my layout I used the New Numbers fun dies + add ons for all the numbers,

the Uppercase Fun Dies for the bigger font, the Write on! for the (th) and ROCKS!(the stamp says 'ROCK! so I added the 'S'),

 the Love to learn for the cute pencil and apple, the Stitched Oval Die to add a sentiment to it, the Lowercase Fun Dies for the smaller font, the 3 Star Stitched Dies for all my stars

and the Fun Stitched Edges to frame my pictures when I get my kids new school pics!!

 

My kids start school on September 3rd... and this year both of my kids are in High school,

Scott is NOT looking forward to it at all!!!!! PS the (EHS) is just the logo for our

the 4x4 Journal Die + More  for the base and the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies for the leaves and flowers!!! :)

SVG Challenge - Anything with fall colors!!!!

We have a GREAT new Challenge over at SVG Cutting Files

 

 

Here is my project for this great challenge, this week it truly feels like fall!!! it was so cold.

So I used the Owl on Coffee Mug for the cut and the Kawaii Sea Nugget  for the base, they are from SVG Cutting Files. I also used MCT Trio Stitched Banner Dies with the

Do The Cocoa Motion Stamp Set for the sentiment, the Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die to add the hot cocoa package, the Piles Of Smiles for the leaves and the PK-1391 Burnt Out Camping Raccoon for the marshmallows stamp. Hope you like my projects!!!! :)

MCT Thrifty Thursday / Stretch Your Stamps 2 class / Day 5!!!

 

 

Hi My Friendly Bloggers!!!

Today is MCT Thrifty Thursday

 We are making projects using scraps / leftovers or recycled items!!!

For today's Thrifty Thursday I made a card with all little pieces of scraps and used the technique that I seen over at Stretch Your Stamps 2 class / Day 5!!! I think this is my favorite project so far from my classes, I just LOVE how it came out!!!

So I used MCT Bloom Where You Are Planted for all the pretty flowers and I had to cut one of my stamps to separate the little flowers so I can scatter them, the Floral Sentiments for the sentiment.

I also used my Prismacolor Pencils that I haven't used for like two years!!!!

All the bigger flowers are cut out twice to give a 3D look.

I was happy to play with them. Hope you like my card for today!!! :)
