Whimsical Wednesday Challenge!

Whimsical Wednesday Challenge! #18 "Back To School"

Create any type of project that has to do with school NO cards this week. Examples are-organizers, teachers gifts, book marks, decorated binder clips.Faith's challenge idea! :)

Hi my friendly Bloggers!

Another great challenge this week,I had fun making little projects for my kids.I made bookmarks and magnets.
The first one is a bookmark I made for my Son,I thought it turned out cute with that sweet little Pinocchio. But my Son said " Your not gonna make me take that to school are you " Oh well !!!
I used "Disney Classics" cartridge and one of Emma's stamps for the saying

This one I made for my daughter, she loves to read so she liked hers.I had seen this cut on a cartridge that I didn't have so I cut it out with my Gypsy. The apple is from "Create a Critter" cartridge with Peachy Keen face.

Here are my magnets,I used "Hello Kitty" cartridge for the apple and PK face
The Crayons I used " Simply Charmed" cartridge and for the bus I used "Nate's ABCs"

Thanks so much for visiting my blog
Hope you play along at Whimsical Wednesday this week :)

Your project is adorable. I love the pinocchio book mark, so cute. The one you made for you daughter is clever, I love the way you did the pencil, paper, and apple. Cute little face too. The magnets are great, you can use them to hang all the school work your kids bring home to you. Good thinking of that. I am really glad your daughter loved her book mark. While I was making my little project I was thinking the entire time that I would get the same reaction you got from your son. Try to please two high school kids. URGH. Great job with the challenge as always.

Cindy, these are such fabulous projects! :o) Everything is so colorful and whimsical.. it's impossible not to smile when you see them. (And you are a PK face pro!) I've never made magnets, but now I am so intrigued! Thank you for the fabulous idea! Despite your son's response (ugh!), I know they both appreciate your loving work. :o) They are blessed! (As am I... thank you for being such an incredible encourager! You are amazing.)

Hugs and blessings! :o)

Great stuff! I really love the magnets!!!! What a super fun project. I actually need some magnets to display my daughters art on our fridge - I've been using tape. *LOL* I think I might steal the idea for the crayons - they are just too adorable.
